Amazon attacks Donald Trump supporters. After expelling the conservative social network Speak from its Amazon Web Services servers, Jeff Bezos’ company will now ban products from the QAnon conspiracy movement behind the Capitol uprising last week.
According to CNN, Amazon has announced that it will gradually withdraw QAnon-branded merchandise from its sales site, which it identifies as a terrorist group. On Amazon, we mainly find clothes like sweatshirts and t-shirts or caps, as well as mugs for example. All these products that can still be found on Amazon for the moment should therefore gradually disappear.
Sellers risk exclusion
Amazon also specifies that sellers who try to circumvent this sales ban to be sanctioned or even excluded from the sales site.
At the origin of conspiracy theses such as the fact that the elites would cover satanic pedophile cabals, QAnon, which developed on the Internet, played a mobilizing role during the Capitol uprising.
