The Honor Band 6 comes to kick in the anthill of connected bracelets with a screen with dimensions worthy of those of a connected watch.
No more connected bracelets equipped with a small screen. The Honor Band 6 is causing a sensation with its large 1.47-inch panel which is close to what a smartwatch can offer, even exceeding some models.
OnePlus confirms the arrival of a connected bracelet (before a smartwatch?)
Honor tries a new connected bracelet format with its Band 6
The 1.47-inch screen is of course AMOLED technology. We find the elongated format of smart band tiles, but with much more width. Aesthetically, the Honor Band 6 is placed between the traditionally connected bracelet and the watch connected to the square dial.
However, the materials that make up the bracelet and the case do not seem to have changed, leaving the product at the entry-level. A mandatory element to keep an attractive price.
The functionalities concerning sport and physical activity seem to have changed little, which is in any case what the little information given by Honor on this subject implies. Ten exercises would therefore be supported, six of which are recognized automatically without having to launch the program yourself.
The Honor Band 6 at 40 euros?
On the health side, the Honor Band 6 is equipped with a heart rate monitor as well as a pulsed oxygen saturation (SpO2) sensor. Sleep, menstrual cycles, and stress level tracking features are also available.
The connected bracelet has, finally, an autonomy of two weeks for a so-called standard use; it is water-resistant (5ATM certified, i.e. it can withstand submersion up to 50 meters deep for 10 minutes).
No official release date, but Honor evokes rapid commercialization. The manufacturer spoke of a price of around 35 dollars, which should materialize in Europe by a price of 40 euros including taxes.
