It will take 10 days to make a decision.
Microsoft has finally announced a new version of the operating system – and although the reviews on Twitter have been mixed, the new features sound interesting enough to give the update a chance. And for those who are interested, but doubtful, there is a kind of “trial period.”
Here’s Microsoft’s official answer to the question “Can I go back to Windows 10 after installing Windows 11 if I don’t like it?” from a page dedicated to the new version of the system:
Yes. Within 10 days of installing the Windows 11 update, you’ll be able to reuse Windows 10 with the data you’ve transferred. After 10 days to return to Windows 10, you’ll need to back up your data and run a clean installation.

In other words, within 10 days of switching to Windows 11, you can open the “Updates and Security” section in your settings → “Recovery” and roll back to the previous version of the system.
With Windows 10 support going to last until 2025, you’ll have plenty of time to decide whether you want to upgrade now or stay with the Top Ten until the end.
